  <title>first post ever!!!!!</title>
  <link>http://beowulf-girl.livejournal.com/501.html</link>
<description>This is my first post. i have a friend who was in the Medieval Community and i thought livejournal was such a neat idea here i am doing my own. i guess i&apos;m just naturally drawn to medieval stuff because i love Tolkien and i fence and make chainmail jewellry and would really like to make swords and i&apos;m in english, of course. My favourite thing i&apos;ve read in college was Seamus Heaney&apos;s Beowulf, what an amazing work of literature. i think it&apos;s so great so much of stuff in Old English is translated, because even Chauser can be kinda hard and it&apos;s really important that as big an audience as possible gets to read it, becuase where will the 21st century be if we don&apos;t know where we come from?</description>
